Who We Are
COPE stands for Circle of Peer Empowerment. We are an organization that was created, is operated, and led by those in recovery from a substance use disorder. We hope to further develop connection within our communities, creating inclusive support, and an empowered community.
Vision Statement
The vision behind COPE is to develop further support for individuals with a substance use disorder and their families. A future free off social stigma in a safe, inclusive, and culturally connected community throughout rural Minnesota.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to help those in our communities find their path to long term recovery by creating and building positive connections. COPE will honor ALL pathways to recovery. We will also work within the community against the shame and stigma surrounding mental health and substance use disorders through education, advocacy, and recovery support.
